Every child deserves somewhere safe to sleep, somewhere they are cared for, somewhere hope returns. It is in that spirit that Monielo set up an emergency shelter programme for orphaned girls and girls living on the street.
Our mission
Since it was founded, our association has worked to offer the most vulnerable children something humane and dignified. Today we support 10 girls, providing:
- Safe, warm accommodation
- Meals every day
- Medical care when it is needed
- And, of course, a return to school
What it takes
The monthly rent for our shelter is 300 dollars a month, and food and clothing come on top of that.
Thanks to your donations and to the support of our partners, these girls can at last live in safety and look ahead to something better.
